-: Pollution :-
An undesirable change in the physical, chemical, biological characteristics of air, water and soil that may harmfully effect the life or created potential life hazard of any living organisms specially for man is known as pollution .
-: Types of Pollution :-
1-According to generation :-
According to the generation the pollution are of following two types -
(i)-Natural Pollution ( Land Sliding, Flood )
(ii)-Man-Made Pollution
That pollution takes place naturally is known as natural pollution . It can not be stop but we can help to reduce by management at correct time through production.
Ex- Land sliding , volcanic explosions,Storm ,flood etc.

(ii)-Man-Made pollution- Such pollution which found in making more natural resources unnaturally by man urbanization and industrialization and chip resins as industrial rubbish, catting of forest is known as man made pollution .
2-According to composition of environment :-
According to composition of environment ,pollution are of following four types -

(i)-Air pollution
(ii)-Water pollution
(iii)-Soil pollution
(iv)-Noise pollution
This pollution is a mixture of solid particles and gases in the air. Car emissions, chemicals from factories, dust, pollen and mold spores may be suspended as particles. Ozone, a gas, is a major part of in air pollution cities. When ozone forms it's also called smog. Some air pollution are poisonous.
Air pollution reservation from gaseous emission of industry , thermal Power station, Auto mobile, domestic combination, smoke fire etc.

(ii)-Water pollution :-
This pollution is the containment of water bodies, usually as a result of human activities. Water bodies include for example lakes, rivers, oceans, aquifers and groundwater. Water pollution results when contaminants are introduced into the natural environment.

Water is the base of on living life fully. It means that life can be not be imagine without water. Water is used for drinking, sanitation etc. The problem of water pollution had increase due to industries and urbanisation.

(iii)-Soil pollution :-
This is defined as the presence of toxic chemicals in soil, in high enough concentrations to pose a risk to human health and/or the ecosystem. In the case of contaminants which occur naturally in soil, even when their levels are not high enough to pose a risk, soil pollution is still said to occur if the levels of the contaminants in soil exceed the levels that should naturally be present.

(iv)-Noise pollution :-
Noise is such a medium thorough which we can talk each other and we can listen the noise having frequency from 20 Hz-20000 Hz.
Such as unwanted level of noise products the stars related to physical, mental and nervous in human body is called noise pollution. Noise pollution is every where but it has more impact in urban area than that of rural the unit of noise measurement is desirable.
