Manufacturing 

An industrial activity that change the  form of raw materials to create products is known as manufacturing .
         Foe changing the raw material into product various types of process are used like casting , forming ,machining and joining.

        Importance of Manufacturing 


Manufacturing may produce discrete products ,meaning individual parts or pieces of parts ,or it may of   produce continuous products. Nails ,gears, steel ball , engine blocks are example of discrete products . Metal and plastic sheet ,wire and pipe are continuous products that may be cut into individual pieces and there by become discrete  products. Because a manufactured item has undergone a number of changes during which raw material has become a useful product ; it has added value , defined as monetary worth in terms of price.
